The clockwork lawman's jaw gaped, then snapped shut. His eyes widened. He blinked, then met the threat with all the artificial lines of his face set tense and tight. It was so oddly human... Duke's finger tightened reflexively on the trigger as he tensed in response. - (steampunk Haven)
"Son, don't get maudlin." Garland tried to grasp his arms again, get him to face him properly. "You beat him."
"I played to him," Nathan snapped. "I'm going to beat him." - Trigger
Everything I landed on for Sea Change IV was NFSW, so none of that today.
