It's disturbing me that someone seems to have me blocked on Tumblr from reblogging their posts. I didn't even know you could do that. Can you do that? Is it a bug? I didn't think it was part of the ignore function. I haven't done anything to that person and they even used to reblog my stuff fairly frequently, and I don't know where that's come from at all. I don't know why. I don't get it.

It's really shocked me. There's someone on Twitter... account names being as they are, maybe it's the same person with a different name, but I think it pre-existed the Tumblr person's switch... that has me blocked from retweeting. I didn't know you could do that, either. Again, I haven't done ANYTHING to this person. I don't even know them (unless, as said, they work under another name elsewhere). It's a Naudrey fan, so maybe they don't like me because I write slash or have done darker toned Naudrey stuff and engaged in discussion that indicates a darker take on the ship than they have or who even knows, but wtf? Wtf to infinity!

People I don't even know how I've offended, don't even know if I know, are blocking me. That freaks me the fuck out. Just what the hell? I know you can't please everyone and people are random but so far as I know I've never crossed these folks. Just WHAT?

NB. If the no-reblogging is part of the ignore function then I need to un-ignore a bunch of folks from the point that I started hitting the 'x' after every Yet Another Character-Bashing Nathan post. Because I don't want to read people that do that in their every post tagged Haven, but I don't want to engage in a sort of enmity with them, either, and disabling them from reblogging feels more like that then saying I just don't want to see their character bashing, because that's something noticeable and hurtful. (That said, I'd be pretty happy that the one person I definitely want to ignore is also blocked from even trying to engage with me.)

[ETA. It looks like the ignore function has changed to a 'block' function recently? With no word on that change that I've seen. I'm wondering if the whole function changed rather than just the name because I didn't have the impression it worked that way before. All but the one person where it actually matters is now un-blocked.]
