Got about 2 more episodes to watch on Season 1 of this. This series has fannishness potential. Fic might happen if I think of something I give a damn about to write.
Particular things I like--
--The collected calm and lack of melodrama in the lead character. Stuff comes up that would be the emo heart of the episode in most other series and Nick sticks to doing the police work before following up on the personal, leaving it more like a footnote.
--The relationship-partnership between Nick and Juliette. I like established relationships in genre books/shows yet the drama of the will-they-won't-they crap gets opted for more often than not since it seems a couple already together is considered Uninteresting.
And not so much--
--Everyone is a Wesen. Like humans can't be dickheads on their own?
