I save all mine as RTF unless/until I want to print them, in which case I temporarily paste them into a word/works template (the PC still has Works) with tight formatting and small text and two columns to save on paper. And I can just about annotate between the lines and around the edges with a pen, and if I need to do more than that, extra paragraphs and segments, etc, I use post-it notes and clipping loose bits of paper to the draft. When I'm gaging how much I've written I go by 1000s of words.
So no page numbers and no meme, anyway. Although I am being steadily concerned by how long it's been since I've posted something, and how long it's taking to sort anything of the current crop out. (Or approach finishing 27 Years Bad Luck.)
At present I'm working on finishing House Divided for
