So I podficced my rage!fic. The non-con and torture warnings apply only to Thing 1. These are five self-contained stories. Chapters are separate, labelled tracks and it should be easy to skip it.
Had a bunch of things I was going to do this weekend, that I've said I'll do or otherwise needed to do, both fannish and otherwise. Instead my brain said, "No, I am going to ignore everything else and finish editing the Jordan McKee audiofic". Which took forever, and that was with all the recordings already made. I sincerely hope these are getting better. I ran it through Levelator and then did a noise removal on Audacity, and went through the whole thing trying to take out any isolated random breathing and other noises.
I don't really expect much from these. I don't think I have the sort of voice people want to listen to. I don't have the money for high end equipment to make perfect recordings. I just find myself intensely wanting the meet the challenge of doing them.
I am going to tackle Body Parts and then see if I still feel the need to do more recording after that.

Hmm, people talk about migrating to Tumblr. I like Tumblr. It's pretty and full of shiny things, and it makes me do visual stuff that I'd almost forgotten how to do, and pull out the drawing tablet and use photoshop, and learn whole new things like giffing. But it's a major pain in the ass for sucking up bandwidth and I can't access it in the flat because it eats all my internet allowance, and it's bloody difficult to access it here because this computer is old and slow. So it is not going to become too major a feature of my internetting yet. Just FWIW. I'm on there about every two days lately. I check dreamwidth every day. (LJ is trickier, but still not as tricky as Tumblr. I do my posting through DW crossposting these days because LJs interface is dreadful.)
