In less than a week, I have written 22,000 words on a sequel to Unbreakable which I have to say wasn't in the plan for this week. I'm not actually sure how I've written that much, because I surely haven't had any time. It's almost finished. I might finish it tomorrow morning if I get up early and sit and write before all the family festive craziness starts.
This series seems to have a police procedural/serial killer sort of vibe to it. Which is interesting on account of not my usual kind of thing, but there's an ongoing thread of Nathan's professional identity playing a big part in the stories. #2 is basically a remix of the Wade Crocker plotline mid season, reworking it for the things I wish had been given greater emphasis (or included at all). It's pretty canon divergent at this point. Season 4 got so intense with the Audrey/Nathan that there was really no way this was going to stay in line with canon. So I figured I might as well go out and rearrange the scenery entirely [ie. and staying relatively spoiler free, JORDAN].
It looks like this might be a trilogy. There are things I'd planned to do liek whoa that there wasn't room for in #2, so sooner or later, there might be a #3.
