So Haven is renewed for ?two season 5's??? (okay, weird: is this saving money via semantics?) and the day is awesome.
While I could go for 8 seasons or more, practically speaking I can only really imagine that this is to provide 26 episodes of freedom to properly finish telling the story and lead up to a finale (financial reasons aside). I am wondering how it's going to work practically too, over the two years. Will they shoot all 26 eps this year? I thought the shooting seasons were tight with the weather in Nova Scotia as it is... Plus what a prospect for the cast, to know how things end and not be able to talk about it for all that time!!!
All my post-season 4 plotbunnies are now free to run riot in the knowledge that they will be AU and do not have to cap on a happy ending due to cancelled!show.And Sea Change IV is free to be as open-ended and potentially miserable as I want.*
