Current plan is that Sea Change will get a Part IV and that it will have sex in it. It'll be set in season 4. I'm still trying to slip these stories into series canon.
Originally this series was my Duke/Nathan happy space because I usually write plotty gen but was getting sentimental shippy ideas so this was somewhere I was going to use to place them. Things... er, changed, since then, and Unbreakable happened along with a bunch of other stories which mean that Sea Change is no longer unique as my space to be 'shippy about Duke and Nathan. But never mind. I still intend to continue it.
This is going to be a bit tricky given Audrey and canon 'shipping in season 4, but never mind that right now, too. It's also a bit tricky because Unbreakable really, really should have been Sea Change IV. But most of the preceding stories weren't edited and posted yet and given that canon was marching on I wasn't prepared to wait to post it; also the approach to the Crocker legacy is too different than in Twisted, and it's solid Nathan POV whereas Sea Change consistently lets both characters get their voice in. (So now I have two ongoing series and kind of *flail* at that thought.) But yeah. Unbreakable took the natural place in canon to set IV and used a lot of the emotional background that could've been in it, and that leaves me now having to figure out how to write something sufficiently different.
Which is not what I'm doing at the moment, because I'm writing the companion story to the body horror fic I finished the other week. And those will be a closed two story arc and therefore not setting me up for another ongoing series. But they're probably going to be about 30k apiece. (Yikes!)
So... I will point anyone disappointed by the lack of smut in Twisted to these two fics and Unbreakable #2, when they land. ;D
