I'm tagging my crossover fic on AO3 under Brought to You by the Ministry of Crack Crossovers. I love that AO3 lets me pull shit like that.
I realised there's quite a lot of my stuff that still isn't on this archive, even though I have 60 works up there. That makes me blink. *checks ff.net* Hm, that site has 82, and it's missing a handful of adult works.
Holy shit. There's more Homeward Bounders fanfiction. When I first posted mine way back, I don't think there were any others. Now it's at the top of the list... Looks like I have some reading material for tonight!
I always loved this book. It's that kick of realisation, which I think is more gradual throughout the book than any one particular moment, when you realise that the story isn't being told by a child, but by an ancient, ancient, crotchety old man who still has the body of a child. It's one of those rare moments in fiction where something happens that's truly unique.
