I'm reading the Dresden Files again: Skin Game, because while I put down Cold Days in disgust around 100 pages in with the general thoughts of "Harry Dresden is a sexist dinosaur and I cannot deal with this anymore" and never went back to it, Nicodemus and the Knights of the Coin might be my favourite villains in anything ever.
I'm enjoying it so far. Generally it is the ones that deal with the faeries that have always given me the most headaches, so maybe Cold Days was just a hiccup. Although I kind of feel that the character is becoming a parody of himself after urk many books.
I wanted to go to the allotment today but it's raining. So maybe I'll just sit here in bed and read my book and occasionally check email and recover from the last week. *nods*
It's been a while since I read a book cover to cover that wasn't non-fiction or fan-fiction. I didn't even make it through Brad Meltzer's Fifth Assassin before the amount of renewals the library lets me have ran out and I was forced to take it back this week, and that's an author I really like. Let's see if I can do this now.
