I have spent most of today writing 4,000 words of Haven fanfic. Yay! This is the first thing I've written since before Christmas (finishing the original NaNo novel) and the first fanfiction I've written since the War Inc. thing that I think I wrote last April. Meep. That might be the longest I've been without writing fanfic since I started writing fanfic when I was, like, 14 or whatever?
The fic thing is just a short season 1 Audrey and Nathan gen casefile. It probably won't be much more than 7,000 words in full.
I actually think I have to own up that I somewhat 'ship these two. Not usually much of a 'shipper, especially for a show's main pairings, but. They are way cuter than Mulder and Scully. Although also this show has the clearest OT3 I've seen in a while.
Possibly more fic will happen after this because certainly I find it's normally hard to write the first fic in a fandom, but if I dash something out fairly quickly, then usually it gets easy to do a few more after that. Haven't seen all the eps yet. At 2.4, but a bit spoiled from Tvtropes.
Random: This must be about the only series where a main character could walk around with his back full of nails for half an episode. Was this strictly necessary - probably not but when watching the pilot I did think they were going to play this for comedy and have him shot/stabbed/etc. every week.
