~3000 words more down on the Squared sequel today, though that hopefully won't be the last done today. Gonna be longer than the first one. Maybe 15k, maybe more.
The reason I'm looking at doing this as a finishing month is, it's fine if I'm just writing something and write it from start to finish, uninterrupted, and that's not usually a problem, because I'm invested and I'm on the journey looking to find an ending. But these are the stories where there's been an interruption -- I had to stop the Pinocchio sequel to write... ah, not sure now. Eurydice, perhaps, when I realised that season 5 was approaching and I was fast losing the chance to write the post-s4 finale fic. I had to stop the Eurydice sequel to writ possibly Troublesfest, though I know I had it with me when I was away at the end of September and wrote 18k of Garland and Nathan gen backwards through from the end of my notebook instead. Squared sequel had to get dropped to write spook_me. I can't even remember what the last chapter of the Nano novel got abandoned in favour of. Just ran out of steam after the slog, maybe. But anyway, it's the ones where I stopped in the middle of them that are in danger of never being finished. And that will bug me forever.
